Trans-resveratrol (trans-RSV) is a polyphenol with multiples biological properties, such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-aging, anti-diabetic, and antiplatelet. It occurs naturally in grapes and derivate, peanuts and berries. Beauvericin (BEA) is a mycotoxin present in cereals that produces cytotoxicity, intracellular reactive oxygen species and lipid peroxidation. The general objective of this research was to evaluate whether trans-RSV could be used as a good polyphenol against damages produced by BEA. Este trabalho teve por objetivo desenvolver um método analítico direto e rápido para a determinação de ácido oleico em óleo de soja por eletroforese capilar com detecção condutométrica sem contato. O eletrólito de corrida empregado foi uma mistura metanol/1-propanol (1:6 v/v) contendo 4 × 10-2 mol L-1 de KOH e 10% (v/v) em etileno glicol. As amostras foram preparadas pela solubilização de 50 g L-1 de óleo de soja e 1,33 × 10-3 de ácido salicílico (padrão interno) no eletrólito de corrida. Os ensaios quantitativos foram realizados adicionando ácido oleico puro às amostras, na faixa entre 0,53 e 2,13 × 10-3 mol L-1. Assignment of complex species by affinity capillary electrophoresis: The case of Th(IV)‐desferrioxamine B

International audience; The electrophoretic mobility change of desferrioxamine B (DFO) was monitored by UV absorption spectrophotometry upon increasing the thorium(IV) concentration in the background electrolyte at two acidities ([HClO4]Tot = 0.0316 and 0.0100 M). These data enabled to assess the speciation model and to determine the equilibrium constant of [Th(DFO)H2]3+ at fixed ionic strength (I = 0.1 M (H,Na)ClO4).
